Human Being

Definition of the Human Being

One who actualizes their mental visions/imagination and expects a healthy mind. Since the dawn of human history, we have used our imagination to understand and adapt to our surroundings, from tools and agriculture to advanced machines and AI. We have achieved many milestones in this regard.

Every individual desires a healthy mind, free from internal conflict, in synergy with themselves and their surroundings—what we call happiness. We have yet to make significant progress in this area.

Human Purpose / Goal

The universal human goal is intellectual resolution in the self, prosperity in family, trust in society, and coexistence with nature. Our purpose is to gain knowledge, awaken, live in human-consciousness, and embody happiness and perfect human conduct.

Our current goals are shaped by external influences and impressions, making them unstable and leaving satisfaction elusive.

Human Construct

A human being is a combination of the conscious jeevan and the physio-chemical body. The body undergoes quantitative changes from conception to death, while the conscious jeevan undergoes qualitative changes.

Conscious activities include understanding, thinking, desiring, and imagining, while bodily activities include digestion, breathing, and physical transformation. Every human has the freedom of imagination (Kalpana-sheetla) and freedom of action (karma-svatantata).

Understanding humans solely through the body is insufficient.

Human Values

There are 30 identified universal human values:

  • Universal values in society: Steadfastness, Courageousness, Generosity; Kindness, Graciousness, Benevolence.
  • Values in the self: Happiness, Peace, Satisfaction, Bliss.
  • Values in human relationships: Trust, Respect, Affection, Care, Guidance, Glory, Worship, Gratitude, Love. These are established within us and expressed in relationships.

Current values stem from beliefs, imagination, or expectations of humanness.

Laws of Living

Understanding existence and its laws reveals the universal laws of living for humans:

  • Intellectual law: Ensures mental balance through non-accumulation, affection, knowledge, straightforwardness, and fearlessness.
  • Social law: Promotes balanced societal behavior via self-wealth, morality in marital life, and kindness.
  • Natural law: Ensures nature’s balance through coexistence, utility, and complementariness.

Current laws of living are based on assumptions from society, culture, religion, or imagination.

Human Relationships

Humans have seven relationships: Mother-Father & Son-Daughter, Brother-Sister, Friends, Teacher-Student, Husband-Wife, Colleague-Co-worker, and Society. Values like Trust and Affection are expressed and fulfilled in these relationships.

Relationships are inherent in existence, not created. Accepting responsibility toward others forms a family.

Today, relationships are often based on physicality or personal gain, making them fragile.

Human Character

Defined by righteous wealth, fidelity in marriage, and kindness in behavior. Righteous wealth includes goods acquired through effort or as gifts. Kindness means live and let live.

Harmful actions, such as interfering in others’ lives or stealing, are considered criminal and reflect poor character.

Human Ethics

Comprises State Ethics (protection of body, mind, wealth) and Religious Ethics (right utilization of body, mind, wealth).

Ethics require understanding humane organization and purpose. Current ethics, lacking a universal basis, rely on faith and enforcement.
